Entrance to university/college and the job market is becoming more and more competitive. French can look good on a resume and show that the candidate is qualified or has the abilities in more fields than one. A second language shows that one has something extra to offer.

If you continue to take French, you will have the oppurtunity to:
  - travel to Montreal and Quebec City in Grades 10-12.
  - participate in an International Student Exchange program in which you are twinned with someone from France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, or Spain
  - participate in a summer program in which you do not have to take a foriegn student into your home.
  - participate in the Rotary Club Foreign Exchange program.
