Ecozone Booklet Format

Page 1

Location

Indicate the location of your ecozone on a map of Canada using the map making rubric.

Page 2

Drainage Map

Using a map of North America, outline the drainage areas that affect you ecozone. Follow the map making rubric.

Page 3

Ecozone Web

Using your textbook, atlas, reference books and the internet gather information in point form according to the labels on theweb sheet.

Page 4

Information

Using the point form information gathered and recorded on your web sheet write a detailed description for each heading. Your must write in full sentences. Be sure to put the information in your own words on the information page.

Collage of Ecozones

Complete your project by creating an Ecozone Collage of pictures (which you have drawn and/or collected) to provide a good visual representation of the ecozone. Be sure to provide at least one graph, which displays information about your ecozone (i.e.: climate graph).

Definitions

Fill in the Definition Page to ensure that you understand the vocabulary for your ecozone. Use the glossary at the back of the textbook or a dictionary for help. You must be able to explain the definition if asked.

Paragraphs

Compose a paragraph describing your ecozone. Use the self-evaluation checklist to ensure you have met all of the requirements.
