Offshore workers

Offshore workers are people working for a company in another country. For example the people that answer the phones when you call for help with your computer may be in India. The reason for this is that in India there is an educated workforce who speak English and they will work for much lower wages than North Americans.

My company will be producing widgets. We will need employees with training in tool and die. This will require the work to be done in Canada and/or the USA.

The letter is to request funding to get the business started. Mrs. Rockefeller backs businesses that she feels will be successful and make money. Answer the following questions, in sentence paragaph form, before composing your letter. Use the answers from these questions to draft your letter. Use proper letter format as shown on the next page. The letter should be one or two pages. Be sure to use the answers to the questions and the brainstorming words for ideas to help you compose the letter.
