This course examines communications systems, design and production processing in the areas of electronic, live, recorded and graphic communications. Students will develop knowledge and skills relating to the assembly, operation, maintenance and repair of the basic and more complex components of a range of communication systems. Students will also study industry standards and regulations, health and safety issues, will explore careers, the importance of lifetime learning and the impact of communications technology. in society. Students will use these skills to design and produce 2D and 3D animations, short videos, and various multimedia projects, using the latest hardware and software.
